Kiwitahi Playhouse

Kia ora Kiwitahi whānau and community,

My name is Harvinder, and together with my husband Thomas, we are proud to be bringing Kiwitahi Playhouse to our rural community.

Kiwitahi Playhouse is a privately owned early childhood education centre licensed for up to 30 children aged 3–6 years. While independent from Kiwitahi School, we look forward to working closely alongside the school to support children's learning journeys and successful transitions into primary education.

Inspired by the values of rural New Zealand, our vision is to provide a nurturing, home-like environment where tamariki can develop confidence, curiosity, resilience, and a strong connection to their community and the natural world. Through meaningful relationships, hands-on learning experiences, and a sense of belonging, we aim to create a place where every child can thrive.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement we have received from the Kiwitahi community and are excited to welcome local families to Kiwitahi Playhouse. Enrolments are now open, secure your spot today!
